Evgeny Pyshkin, Ph.D., Senior Associate Professor, University of Aizu (Japan)
Dr. Evgeny Pyshkin received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in 2000. Since 2016 he is a senior associate professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Aizu. His major research interests are in the areas of software engineering, software development education, and human-centric computing. Inspired by digital transformation challenges, he participated in multi-disciplinary projects aimed at improving information technology applications for individuals and society, which include information services for travelers, software testing framework for mobile development, and prosody-based personalized computer-assisted language learning system. He is an author of several books on software design and programming in C, C++, Java and C#. He participates in program or organizing committees of international conferences in the domains of information systems and software engineering sponsored by ACM, IEEE, and IARIA.
Besides his majors, he is a passionate enthusiast for research on cross-cultural communication and exploration of existing links between technology disciplines and humanities including music, languages, literature, architecture, and visual arts.
