Dr. Branislav Jovic
Dr. Branislav Jovic received the B.E. with first class honours and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Auckland in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He is a recipient of the University of Auckland 2007 Best Doctoral Thesis award for his work on the synchronization of chaotic communication systems.
After graduation, he was employed as a research and development engineer by the Defence Technology Agency, New Zealand Defence Force, where he has worked on a range of communication, radar and ESM systems. His current research interests include applications of nonlinear dynamics to communications and radar, chaotic synchronization and SATCOM systems. He is an author of a number of book chapters, technical reports, conference and journal papers in leading international journals on nonlinear science, communications and signal processing. He is also the author of the book “Synchronization Techniques for Chaotic Communication Systems”.
